The rapper just added the role of "Mother Fitness" to her bold body of work, debuting today in a splashy campaign for the gym chain:
MTS delivers an empowering message backed by her track "Body" (what else?).
Barkley developed the push, and director Calmatic—renown for crafting dynamic visuals—paints frames with frenetic style.
"Working out is such an important part of my routine, so this partnership with Planet Fitness genuinely embodies my personal values," MTS says in campaign materials. "We want to encourage everyone to prioritize their physical and mental health heading into the New Year, so they can reach new heights in 2024 and continue to grow into the best version of themselves."
Megan's a goddess, so of course there's merch, including sweatshirts, bucket hats and sticker sheets with mottos like "Big Fitness Energy" and "Real Hot Girl Fit." Proceeds benefit MTS' nonprofit Pete & Thomas Foundation, which helps women, children, seniors and underserved communities.
Planet Fitness serves as presenting sponsor of the Times Square New Year's Eve festivities in NYC. Megan will be the first performer. You can catch her set on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest.
"Music plays a huge role in any fitness routine, so Planet Fitness is thrilled to be teaming up with Megan Thee Stallion to break down the barriers of fitness, help everyone focus on their fitness journeys, the judgement-free way," says chief brand officer Jamie Medeiros.
