American Horror Story's 'Apocalypse' Teasers Are Beautifully Horrific
No TV show combines beauty and terror quite like American Horror Story.
The FX series' impeccably designed and intensely creepy posters and trailers have picked up a slew of Clio Entertainment awards over the years, including a Grand Clio last year for the season 6 integrated campaign.
Now, we've gotten some typically frightful teasers for season 8, which will be called American Horror Story: Apocalypse, in the form of a teaser trailer and poster. Check them out here:

Fans of the series can find all sorts of clues in the trailer about what's in store for season 8, which will reportedly combine elements of seasons 1 and 3. But the teaser poster distills everything down to a single chilling image—a pair of claw-like hands gripping an hourglass, with a fetus in the bottom and a mushroom cloud at the top. (Should be a pretty chill season, then.)
The new materials follow an earlier teaser poster, released July 20 for Comic-Con, showing one of the hands poking a baby (who also has little black claws for fingernails, Lord help us all).
American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres Sept. 12 on FX.
